Your work will be mainly practical and split between group work and individual. Each unit you will be set a task which will result in a product / production that will be used for a ‘real life’ purpose.
The course will include a number of visits and workshops plus 10 days relevant work experience throughout the two years. The course will conclude with an extended project based on a previous unit of work.
This course requires a substantial degree of dedication and the ability to work independently.
If you are interested in doing this course and did not attend the Diploma Evening please speak to Mrs Ruston for more information.
This course will be a double award and will need to be chosen over two option blocks. To meet the required number of guided learning hours some extension to the working day will be necessary.
